Responsibilities
E-Waste Collection & Logistics:
- Coordinate with collection centers, vendors, and transport teams for timely pickup and delivery of e-scrap.
- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
Pre-Processing Oversight
- Supervise dismantling, sorting, and segregation of e-waste components (PCBs, plastics, metals, etc.).
- Ensure safe handling of hazardous components like batteries, CRTs, and capacitors.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain records of material flow, weight, and category of e-waste.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations (e.g., CPCB guidelines).
Team Coordination
- Manage field staff and laborers involved in collection and pre-processing.
- Conduct training sessions on safety, handling procedures, and equipment use.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on operations, challenges, and improvements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections or audits.
Quality & Safety Assurance
- Conduct routine checks to ensure quality of segregation and dismantling.
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response plans.
Qualifications
Qualifications Required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Waste Management, or related field.
- Certifications (Preferred): E-Waste Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Hazardous Waste Handling.
Experience Required
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in waste management, preferably in e-waste or recycling operations.
- Hands-on experience with dismantling processes, logistics coordination, and team supervision.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance reporting.
