Role Description
The Field Officer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Baramati. The Field Officer is responsible for building strong relationships with local farmers, promoting and demonstrating the benefits of the company’s products, and providing on-ground support and technical guidance. Additional duties include collecting feedback, solving issues related to product applications, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Field Officer will also liaise with distributors and retailers to ensure product availability and participate in field campaigns or events.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, crop protection, and agrochemical applications
- Proven ability in customer relationship management and effective communication with stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical guidance to farmers
- Adept at market research, feedback collection, and competitive analysis
- Possess a degree in Agriculture or a related discipline (preferred)
- Willingness to travel locally and work in rural settings
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications
- Proficiency in local languages and English will be an added advantage
