Role Description The Field Officer is a full-time role based in Ludhiana, responsible for supervising and coordinating security guards across assigned locations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site visits, monitoring guard performance, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and maintaining discipline and professional standards. The role involves preparing brief reports, communicating client requirements to on-ground staff, and promptly addressing incidents or irregularities. The Field Officer will liaise with clients to understand security needs, support deployment planning, and provide feedback to management for continuous improvement. The position requires regular travel within Ludhiana, flexible working hours, and a strong presence at client sites.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory and team coordination skills, with the ability to manage and motivate security personnel on multiple sites.
- Solid knowledge of basic security procedures, patrolling methods, and incident response practices.
- Effective communication skills in spoken and written English and local languages, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff.
- Good organizational and reporting skills, including maintaining logs, preparing brief site reports, and tracking shifts and deployments.
- Physical fitness suitable for on-site inspections, patrolling, and extended hours in the field.
- Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions in urgent situations, and maintain calm and composure.
- Basic familiarity with mobile phones and messaging apps for coordination, and willingness to learn simple digital reporting tools.
- Prior experience in security services, military, police, or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum education at secondary level (or equivalent); additional security-related certifications are a plus.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as per operational needs.
