Job Description – Blue Collar Recruiter
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Blue Collar Recruiter with hands-on experience in hiring heavy vehicle drivers and other field workforce. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities, maintaining hiring pipelines, coordinating with operations teams, and ensuring timely onboarding of drivers and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle end-to-end recruitment for heavy vehicle drivers and blue-collar workforce.
* Source candidates through job portals, field hiring, references, consultancies, and local networks.
* Conduct initial screening and document verification of drivers.
* Verify driving licenses, badge details, experience, and background documents.
* Coordinate interviews, joining formalities, and onboarding processes.
* Maintain daily hiring trackers and recruitment MIS reports.
* Work closely with operations teams to understand manpower requirements.
* Ensure timely closure of open positions with quality hires.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of drivers and support staff for bulk hiring requirements.
* Handle walk-in drives and field recruitment activities when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 2–5 years of experience in blue-collar recruitment.
* Mandatory experience in hiring heavy vehicle drivers.
* Good understanding of driver hiring processes, documentation, and compliance checks.
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
* Familiarity with local hiring markets and sourcing channels.
* Basic knowledge of MS Excel and recruitment trackers.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Experience in logistics, transportation, mobility, or fleet-based companies will be preferred.
* Candidates with strong field recruitment exposure are highly preferred.
* Immediate joiners or candidates with shorter notice periods are preferred.
