On the Rolling stock, Signaling, Telecommunications, AFC, RAMS & Operations side, Systra India is executing several design review and detailed project reports like: MRVC-CBTC (Migration of Existing Sub-Urban Transit system to CBTC), Bangalore Metro, Kolkata Metro, Pune Metro Phase II, Vijayawada MRTS and Dhaka Metro Line 5N.
We are seeking applications for the position of Field Engineer (Transmission Line) for Transmission Utility Project.
Missions/Main Duties
- Supervise construction activities for EHV transmission line projects.
- Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and utility teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist in stringing, erection, and commissioning of transmission line structures.
- Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical inputs and resolve site-level challenges promptly.
Profile/Skills
- BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in construction of EHV transmission line projects.
- Familiarity with tower erection, stringing, and commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of safety practices and quality standards in transmission utility projects.
- Field engineer shall be posted at site during contract period.
