About the Role
We are looking for Field Engineer who'll be responsible for Erection & Commissioning, Troubleshooting, Training at customer’s site.
Technical Competencies: (Nature / type of technical proficiency required to execute this role)
• Should be able to understand Technical Drawings / schematics.
• Knowledge of Electricals, Hydraulics and Pneumatics will be preferred.
• Should be comfortable with MS Office.
• Software programming, understanding of PLC logic will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Field services for the machines manufactured by PSG.
• Field visits to customer’s factory location for following services related to
PSG machines:-
Erection & commissioning
Extended Production support
Product test & trials
On-site Troubleshooting, repair, overhaul on the machines
Training to Supervisor, Operator at customer's shop floor
• Off-site technical support & troubleshooting assistance to the customer.
• To visit PSG company location in Switzerland to learn about new machineries and refresh the training and to support in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) with customer.
• Providing inputs (in terms of machine functionality) for CIP (Continuous Improvement Programs) to Product Engineering Team at PSS.
• Providing inputs to Tech Doc Team related to Machine Documentation / PES (Parts Enquiry System e-Portal)
• Promote OEM spares and services to the customer.
• Prepare details Service Report after each visit and share the same with direct superior / HOD.
• Perform any additional task given by direct superior / HOD

• Should be Team Player with ability to sometimes lead the Team.
• Good Technical communicator.
• Good Analytical Skills, enthusiastic and also have sound knowledge of the latest technology.
• Experience in interacting with internal / external customers to understand the technical aspects of the Machine that needs to be documented.
• Should be able to understand and advise corrective measures to the customer.
• Ability to work in different culture (Asian/European/American)
• Should be Application and Target oriented
• Willingness to travel within India or abroad for longer period and / or on short notice.
• Flexibility and quick response is a must.
Experience: 4+ years in Engineering Industry for Installation, Maintenance, troubleshooting of Complex Machinery. Preferably from Packaging / Printing Machinery OR Machine Building Industry.
Education: BE Electrical or Electronics
