Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Engineer located in Mumbai. The Field Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for communication systems, performing troubleshooting, and conducting routine maintenance and inspections. Additional duties include on-site field service for system installations and repairs, collaborating with team members to ensure project completion, and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong communication skills and client-service orientation
- Experience in field service and on-site support for technical systems and networks
- Ability to provide technical support and guide customers through operational processes
- Familiarity with project management principles and experience coordinating field installations or upgrades
- Flexibility to work in an on-site role that may require travel and physical activity
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field is preferred
- Experience in the satellite communication or remote connectivity industry is an advantage
