Role Description The Field Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. Field Associates support political campaigns and projects by conducting field research, gathering voter and community insights, and assisting in the implementation of outreach strategies. This includes coordinating with local teams, organizing and monitoring ground-level activities, and accurately documenting findings and feedback from the field. The role also involves supporting data collection efforts, preparing concise reports for internal use, and ensuring that on-the-ground operations align with the broader campaign objectives. Field Associates work closely with consultants and analysts to communicate field realities and contribute to informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong research and data collection abilities, including conducting structured interviews, surveys, and field observations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse communities, stakeholders, and team members.
- Organizational and coordination skills to manage field activities, schedules, and documentation reliably.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (spreadsheets, presentation software, messaging platforms) for reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments, with flexibility to travel within assigned regions as needed.
- Demonstrated interest in politics, public policy, governance, or social impact; experience in grassroots campaigns or community work is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, such as Political Science, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Management, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English and at least one regional language spoken in Karnataka is preferred.
