Role Description
We are hiring a Field Application Engineer (Quantum Solutions) to support pre-sales and technical activities for advanced quantum technologies across academic and research institutions.
This role involves technical demonstrations, solution discussions, installations, and training, enabling customers to evaluate and implement quantum solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with professors and researchers to understand requirements and position quantum solutions
- Support pre-sales activities including technical proposals, demos, and solution discussions
- Conduct product demonstrations, PoCs, and hands-on sessions on quantum platforms
- Handle installation, configuration, and commissioning of quantum lab setups
- Deliver training sessions and workshops for faculty and students
- Support lab setup, research use-case evaluation, and solution integration
- Collaborate with inside sales and technical teams to drive opportunities
- Document customer interactions and share insights for solution improvement
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Physics, Photonics, or related fields
- 1–4 years of experience in application engineering, research, or technical support
- Understanding of Quantum Computing, Quantum Communication, Quantum Optics, or Photonics
- Experience in technical presentations, demos, or training delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to travel for customer engagement across India
