Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Field Engineering
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for broadband CPE products including ONT/ONU, Wi-Fi routers, 5G FWA CPE, and VoIP IADs
- Perform product integration testing and certification with major Indian ISPs (Jio, Airtel, ACT, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve Layer 2/3 networking issues, Wi-Fi interference, PON registration failures, and FWA signal problems
- Conduct field visits to customer premises and LCO sites for issue reproduction and debugging
- Create and maintain technical documentation: FAQs, troubleshooting guides, RCA reports
- Manage spare parts inventory and RMA process
Customer Engagement
- Serve as the technical point of contact for 3–4 key accounts simultaneously
- Deliver product training to ISP engineering teams and LCO installation crews
- Collect and relay customer requirements and competitive intelligence to HQ
- Support pre-sales activities: product demos, technical proposals, PoC testing
Cross-functional Coordination
- Escalate complex issues to R&D with reproducible test cases and logs
- Coordinate with China-based engineering team (English communication required)
- Participate in weekly technical sync meetings and quarterly business reviews
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (B.E. / B.Tech preferred)
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in FAE, technical support, or field engineering roles in broadband / telecom industry
- Proven experience with CPE products (ONT, router, FWA CPE) and direct ISP customer engagement in India
