Job Summary
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will act as the technical interface between Prodigy Technovations and its customers. The role involves understanding customer requirements,delivering technical demonstrations, supporting product evaluations, and providing post-sales technical support. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of Test & Measurement equipment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with customers and channel partners across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer applications and recommend suitable Protocol Analyzer and validation solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
- Support customers during product evaluation, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with international distributors and business partners to drive technical closure of opportunities.
- Provide application-level support and ensure successful customer adoption of products.
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Travel internationally to support customer engagements and partner activities.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech (ECE) and M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communications.
- 2 to 4 years of experience as an FAE in the Semiconductor or Test & Measurement industry.
- Hands-on experience with Protocol Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, or Telecom Test Equipment.
- Strong understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) concepts and probing solutions.
- Experience in hardware/test equipment evaluation for customer-specific applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally on short notice.
