<strong>Role Overview<br></strong><br>Fidelia Counseling Services is seeking dedicated Therapeutic Mentors to provide one-on-one, strength-based support to youth. This is a <strong>contract position</strong> focused on coaching social skills and emotional regulation. We take pride in supporting our local community through culturally sensitive and inclusive care.<br><br>
</div><div>Requirements & Qualifications<br><br>

<strong>Work Eligibility:</strong> Candidates <strong>must be eligible to work in the U.S.</strong>
</li>
<li>
<strong>International Students:</strong> We welcome applications from international students, provided they are <strong>fully aligned with U.S. government work requirements</strong> (such as holding a valid EAD, OPT, or CPT authorization).</li>
<li>
<strong>Language Skills:</strong> <strong>Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.</strong> Proficiency in <strong>Spanish or Portuguese</strong> is highly recommended.</li>
<li>
<strong>Transportation:</strong> A <strong>reliable vehicle is required</strong> for community-based work.</li>
<li>
<strong>Age:</strong> Must be 21 years of age or older</li>

<strong>Education:</strong> <br><br>Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a human services field (preferred).<br><br><strong>Experience<br><br></strong>Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with children or adolescents.<br><br>

<strong>Wraparound Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with "wraparound" service teams (ICC and Family Partners).</li>
<li>
<strong>Community-Based Support:</strong> Engage with clients directly in their <strong>homes and local communities</strong>.</li>
<li>
<strong>Inclusive Advocacy:</strong> Provide an affirming environment for all youth. We are a proud ally of the <strong>LGBTQ+ community</strong>.</li>
<li>
<strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate and timely progress notes per agency standards.</li>
