Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a FHIR HL7 Implementation Specialist based in Ahmedabad. The role involves implementing Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and HL7 standards to integrate healthcare data and systems seamlessly. Key tasks include developing and managing integration workflows, ensuring compliance with healthcare IT standards, troubleshooting integration issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. The specialist will also provide technical guidance, carry out testing, and document processes to ensure successful project execution and system functionality.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FHIR and HL7 standards, including implementation and integration processes
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other standard healthcare data exchange formats
- Understanding of healthcare-related systems like Electronic Health Records (EHR) and interoperability practices
- Ability to troubleshoot integration challenges and ensure compliance with IT and healthcare regulations
- Experience working with databases such as SQL, and basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including healthcare and IT professionals
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
- Relevant certifications in FHIR, HL7, or healthcare systems interoperability are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields
