Role Description The FEMA Compliance Executive – IDPMS & EDPMS is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves managing day-to-day compliance related to Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) requirements, with a focus on Inward and Export Data Processing and Monitoring Systems (IDPMS & EDPMS). Responsibilities include reviewing documentation for import and export transactions, monitoring realization and settlement of foreign exchange, and coordinating with banks and clients to ensure timely closure of entries. The executive will prepare compliance reports, maintain accurate records, track regulatory deadlines, and support audits and internal reviews related to FEMA and RBI guidelines. The role also includes guiding clients on regulatory changes, assisting in resolving discrepancies or queries raised by banks or regulators, and collaborating with internal teams to strengthen compliance processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Regulatory Compliance skills, including FEMA and RBI guidelines, and familiarity with IDPMS & EDPMS processes.
- Knowledge of Law and applicable rules governing foreign exchange transactions, imports, and exports.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills to coordinate with clients, banks, and internal stakeholders.
- Robust Analytical Skills for reviewing transaction data, identifying discrepancies, and preparing clear compliance reports.
- Relevant academic background in Commerce, Finance, Law, or related fields; professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CS, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience in compliance, banking, trade finance, or advisory roles dealing with FEMA or international transactions is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office tools for data tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Ability to work with attention to detail, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
