About You

You’re a seasoned mortgage expert and sales leader who’s excited to be on the ground floor of something big. You will play a critical role in shaping our GTM stratgey, while refining the sales process and at first, owning the full sales cycle. You know how to close deals—but more importantly, you’re ready to build the machine that closes them at scale.

As the first hire on the mortgage sales team, you’ll be responsible for building and documenting the mortgage revenue engine—identifying high-value prospects, leading demos, closing deals, and laying the foundation for long-term growth. You’re energized by early-stage momentum, comfortable operating with autonomy, and motivated by impact and ownership.

You Will

  • Develop and refine sales messaging, outbound campaigns, and pipeline strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across the funnel.
  • Provide customer feedback and market insights to shape the evolution of our mortgage product.
  • Establish repeatable sales processes and playbooks to scale mortgage sales over time.
  • At first, own the entire sales cycle—from outbound prospecting to closing—for our new mortgage SaaS product launching in early Q2.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with lenders, mortgage companies, and broker partners.
  • Deliver engaging, high-impact demos that clearly communicate our value and differentiation.
  • Eventually help hire and lead a growing mortgage sales team as we scale.

You Have

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS sales, within the mortgage tech space is a must.
  • 5+ years of mortgage leadership experience.
  • A proven track record of exceeding quota and closing net new revenue.
  • Experience selling to mortgage lenders, brokers, or financial institutions.
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, and discovery skills.
  • Deep understanding of the mortgage space—trends, pain points, and key players.
  • A builder’s mindset: you thrive in early-stage environments and know how to operate with autonomy.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and outbound sales tactics.
