About the DOE Boost Program
Sandia National Laboratories and program partner FedTech are recruiting for this year's Department of Energy (DOE) Boost Platform, an initiative that brings aspiring entrepreneurs and national lab-developed technologies together to find solutions to American energy and infrastructure challenges.
The Boost Startup Studio matches participants with cutting-edge IP from a national lab for an intensive 18-week virtual cohort. Teams work closely with expert coaches and advisors to assess the potential of their assigned technologies and form strategies for successful commercialization.
Who We are Looking For
We’re looking for aspiring or experienced entrepreneurs with diverse backgrounds in technology, business, energy, and innovation. The program is virtual and designed to be flexible for those working full-time. We particularly encourage residents of the Mountain West region (NM, CO, UT, NV, MT), but all U.S. citizens are welcome to apply.
The program is unpaid and free to participate in (we do not take equity in any startups spun out). Best of all, top teams will have the opportunity to win a share of $100,000 in prizes at the final showcase event in December!
If you’ve wanted to break into energy tech but weren’t sure how, this is your chance!
The application deadline is June 20, 2025. Boost runs August - December, 2025
