Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated FedRAMP Specialist for an on-site, full-time position at our India location. The FedRAMP Specialist will oversee and manage compliance initiatives, ensure adherence to government security protocols, and handle risk assessments for cloud-based solutions. Key responsibilities include conducting security assessments, developing documentation, collaborating with engineering teams to implement compliant systems, and communicating with stakeholders to maintain adherence to FedRAMP requirements. You will be at the forefront of ensuring systems meet high federal compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in FedRAMP compliance, risk management, and security assessment.
- Ability to develop and maintain system security documentation (e.g., SSP, POA&M reports).
- Profound knowledge of federal security compliance standards like NIST 800-53 and FISMA.
- Strong collaboration skills for working with engineering, compliance, and stakeholder teams.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills to address security vulnerabilities and ensure remediation.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, emphasizing secure and compliant architecture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex security information effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
