Role Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer to work directly with customers, understand complex business challenges, and deploy AI-powered software solutions in real-world environments. This role combines software engineering, solution architecture, customer engagement, and product thinking.
You will bridge the gap between product development and customer success by rapidly building, customizing, and deploying solutions that create measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to understand workflows, business requirements, and technical challenges.
- Design and implement customer-specific solutions using the company's platform and APIs.
- Build integrations with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party applications.
- Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-ready solutions.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and deployment planning.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure successful customer adoption.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, consulting, or technical implementation.
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and system integrations.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/LLM applications and agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with enterprise software deployments.
- Knowledge of data engineering and ETL pipelines.
- Startup or consulting experience.
