<strong>The Sign Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sign manufacturing, from project intake to final delivery. This role ensures production efficiency, quality control, and on-time completion of signage projects while managing staff, equipment, and materials. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with hands-on production knowledge in the signage or graphics industry.<br></strong><br>
</div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul>
<li>Manage daily operations of the sign production department, including scheduling, workflow, and staff supervision</li>
<li>Oversee the fabrication of various signage types (e.g., vinyl graphics, illuminated signs, banners)</li>
<li>Ensure all products meet company quality standards and client specifications</li>
<li>Coordinate with sales and design teams to review project requirements and timelines</li>
<li>Maintain production schedules and ensure deadlines are consistently met</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed</li>
<li>Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to maintain high performance and safety standards</li>
<li>Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance or repairs</li>
<li>Implement and enforce safety procedures and best practices</li>
<li>Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste</li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul>
<li>3–5+ years of experience in sign production or a related field</li>
<li>Proven leadership or supervisory experience</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of sign fabrication techniques, materials, and equipment (e.g., CO2 Laser, large-format printers, laminators)</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret design files and technical drawings</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail</li>
<li>Familiarity with production software and workflow systems is a plus</li>
</ul><div><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></div><ul>
<li>Experience with vinyl application, electrical signage, and installation processes</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and printer RIP software</li>
<li>Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience</li>
</ul><div><strong>Work Environment:</strong></div><ul>
<li>Production facility/warehouse setting</li>
<li>May require standing for extended periods and lifting materials</li>
<li>Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines</li>
</ul>
