Role Description The Fashion Photographer at Hema Emporium is a full-time, on-site role based in Calangute, responsible for visually showcasing leather products and brand identity across digital and print channels. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing product and lifestyle photo shoots, coordinating with design and marketing teams, and creating imagery that reflects the premium, handcrafted nature of the brand. The role involves setting up studio and outdoor lighting, styling products, directing models when needed, and ensuring consistent visual storytelling aligned with brand guidelines. The photographer will also handle image selection, basic retouching, and preparation of files for use on the website, social media, and promotional materials. Collaboration with the creative team to ideate new visual concepts and maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic is essential.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Product Photography and Fashion Photography skills, with experience capturing both studio and lifestyle imagery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lighting and on-set setup, including natural and artificial light, to achieve high-quality, consistent images.
- Candidates should possess Image Editing and Photo Retouching skills, using professional software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) to deliver polished visuals.
- Candidates should possess experience in planning and executing Photo Shoots, including shot lists, coordination with models and stylists, and time management.
- Candidates should have a solid portfolio demonstrating work with fashion, accessories, or product brands.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, color accuracy, and composition skills.
- Candidates should have the ability to collaborate effectively with design, marketing, and operations teams on-site in Calangute.
- A diploma or degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
