Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to manage sampling coordination, fabric sourcing, vendor follow-ups, product execution, and launch readiness across women’s western wear categories.
This role requires close collaboration with design, e-commerce, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth sample development, timely fabric availability, product readiness, and efficient launch execution.
The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of fast fashion operations, fabric sourcing, sampling management, merchandising coordination, and trend-driven product planning.
Key Responsibilities
Sampling & Fabric Coordination
- Coordinate fabric sourcing and ensure timely availability of fabrics for sampling
- Manage vendor coordination for fabric bookings and supplier follow-ups
- Work closely with the design team to ensure smooth execution of new styles
- Ensure samples are developed accurately and on time as per planned quantities
- Track sample approvals and follow up for timely readiness
Merchandising & Product Execution
- Analyze category performance and identify winning styles for color variants and further development
- Work across key categories including dresses, tops, skirts, jumpsuits, and denims
- Stay updated on fashion trends and market movement to support stronger product decisions
- Support product planning through close coordination with the design team
Operations & Launch Execution
- Maintain and update BOMs (Bill of Materials), merchandising reports, and product trackers
- Coordinate and own photoshoot execution for new product launches
- Work closely with the e-commerce team to ensure products go live on time across channels
- Maintain weekly and monthly merchandising reports and dashboards
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in fashion merchandising, preferably in women’s western wear
- Strong experience in D2C fashion brands or marketplace-led brands like Myntra and Ajio
- Strong understanding of fabric sourcing, vendor management, and fast fashion supply chains
- Good knowledge of Excel, reporting, and merchandising analysis
- Strong understanding of trends, fabrics, and customer demand
- Strong coordination skills with a high ownership mindset and execution focus
Compensation
- Up to ₹6 LPA depending on experience, category understanding, and relevant brand exposure.
