Deepsouls is a soulful clothing brand built on storytelling through design. We're looking for a creative, driven fashion designer to grow with us - starting as an intern embedded in the founder's office, with a clear path to a permanent remote role and attractive incentives tied directly to your work.
What you'll do:
- Work directly alongside the founder to develop and refine the Deepsouls design language and aesthetic
- Conceptualise and sketch original apparel designs - with a primary focus on T-shirts and casualwear
- Create print-ready design files using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent tools
- Research current streetwear, fashion, and cultural trends to inform collection direction
- Assist in building mood boards, lookbooks, and brand visual references
- Collaborate on colour palettes, typography choices, and placement specs for each piece
- Contribute ideas to upcoming drops and limited-edition collections
- Participate in weekly virtual creative reviews with the founding team
Expanded responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design of seasonal and capsule collections from concept through to production-ready artwork
- Own the creative direction for assigned product categories within the Deepsouls line
- Coordinate with print vendors and manufacturers to ensure design integrity is maintained in production
- Develop and maintain brand design guidelines and asset libraries
- Present and pitch new collection concepts to the founder with rationale and visual direction
- Support marketing with campaign visuals, social assets, and product imagery direction
- Provide creative input on packaging, tags, and brand touchpoints
- Mentor or onboard future design interns into the Deepsouls creative process
What we're looking for
- A strong design portfolio showcasing original apparel, print, or graphic work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop essential)
- A genuine passion for fashion, culture, and storytelling through clothing
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fully remote setup
- Strong visual communication skills and openness to creative feedback
- Knowledge of garment construction, print techniques, or apparel production is a plus
