Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role located in Surat. The role involves conceptualizing and creating unique designs for drape sarees, focusing on style, fabric selection, and functionality. Day-to-day tasks include sketching designs, selecting textiles and accessories, incorporating embroidery and detailing into garments, and ensuring flawless fitting. The designer will collaborate with production teams to bring innovative ideas to reality while upholding quality standards and preserving Kuntal Antique Art's design aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Fashion Design and a solid understanding of style and garment construction
• Experience with Textiles and knowledge of fabric types suitable for saree creation
• Proficiency in Embroidery techniques and processes
• Expertise in garment Fitting and draping with precision and attention to detail
• Creativity and an eye for unique Fashion trends
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field is preferred
• Prior experience in sari or ethnic wear design is an advantage
