We are seeking a highly creative and Fashion Designer who can transform client requirements into personalized fashion solutions. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as the designer will directly interact with clients, understand their preferences, provide design recommendations, create custom sketches, and oversee the design journey until production initiation.
The ideal candidate should be confident in client consultations, possess strong fashion design expertise, and have the ability to deliver a premium and personalized customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, occasion, style, and budget.
• Build strong relationships with clients and guide them throughout the design process.
• Translate client requirements into creative and practical design concepts.
• Create detailed fashion sketches, illustrations, and design presentations.
• Recommend suitable fabrics, colors, silhouettes, embellishments, and styling options.
• Take ownership of the design process from consultation to production handover.
• Prepare design specifications and communicate requirements clearly to the production team.
• Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure all client requirements are documented and incorporated into the final design.
• Stay updated with fashion trends, garment construction techniques, fabrics, and market preferences.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining high design standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience in fashion design, custom clothing, couture, bridal wear, ethnic wear, or personalized fashion services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client-facing and consultation skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and convert them into unique design solutions.
• Strong sketching, illustration, and design development skills.
• Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, measurements, and fit.
• Strong presentation and styling abilities.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
