Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Fashion Designer role at Rajnandini Fashion (I) Ltd, located in Surat. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for developing innovative designs for women’s ethnic wear, including fabric selection, garment fittings, and quality assurance. Additional activities include creating embroidery designs and collaborating with the team to ensure that the final product aligns with the brand’s vision and meets high industry standards. The role also involves staying updated on current fashion trends and textiles to inspire new collections.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Fashion Design, including creating innovative and aesthetically appealing apparel designs
- Experience in Embroidery techniques and application in garment design
- Knowledge of Textiles and fabric properties for material selection
- Strong skills in Fitting and attention to detail in tailoring garments
- Passionate about fashion and keen to stay updated with the latest industry trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred
- Excellent creativity, communication, and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in the ethnic fashion industry is an added advantage
