Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Fashion Designer role located in Gurugram. The Fashion Designer will conceptualize, design, and develop apparel and accessory lines in alignment with market trends and client requirements. Responsibilities include creating sketches, selecting fabrics, coordinating embroidery and textile designs, and ensuring proper fit and detailing in finished products. The Fashion Designer will also collaborate with production teams, attend fittings, and source materials to ensure high-quality deliverables that align with brand identity.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Fashion Design and a strong understanding of current trends and market demands
- Knowledge and experience in textiles and fabric selection
- Proficiency in embroidery design, patterns, and implementation techniques
- Strong skills in garment fitting and product detailing
- Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate concepts into finished designs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and production teams
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
- Prior industry experience is an asset but not mandatory; passion and creativity are essential
