Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fashion Designer located in Mumbai. The Fashion Designer will collaborate with the design team to craft innovative men’s ethnic wear collections, with an emphasis on traditional textiles, embroidery, and modern trends. Responsibilities include creating design sketches, selecting fabrics, ensuring optimal fit, and overseeing garment production to maintain quality standards. The role also involves coordinating with the production and merchandising teams to meet project timelines and deliver customized solutions for clients.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Fashion Design and creating innovative, trend-driven collections
- Knowledge of Textiles and traditional embroidery techniques
- Proficiency in ensuring accurate garment fitting and adjustments
- Understanding of the men’s ethnic wear market and design aesthetics
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Prior experience in ethnic wear design or similar domains is advantageous
