Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop women’s western wear collections in woven and knitwear categories.
- Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes relevant to the target market.
- Create mood boards, concept boards, and seasonal themes.
- Prepare detailed tech packs, sketches, and design specifications.
- Coordinate with the sampling, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Follow up on samples and make necessary corrections.
- Ensure designs are aligned with cost, quality, and timeline requirements.
- Work closely with vendors for fabric, trims, and embellishment sourcing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in women’s western wear (woven & knitwear).
- Strong understanding of fabrics, fits, garment construction, and trends.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW / Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop (preferred).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
