Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Consultant Intern role based in Dehra Dun. The intern will assist clients in selecting outfits that suit their occasion, body type, and personal style, while promoting sustainable fashion choices aligned with Rent An Attire’s brand. Daily responsibilities include styling consultations, coordinating fittings, managing garment selection and preparation, and supporting inventory organization on the shop floor. The role also involves maintaining visual merchandising standards, assisting with bookings and returns, and providing attentive customer service to enhance the in-store experience. The intern will collaborate with the styling and operations teams, contribute ideas for lookbooks or social media content, and learn best practices in luxury fashion rentals and circular fashion.
Qualifications
- Strong interest and foundational knowledge in fashion, styling, and current trends; ability to create cohesive looks for diverse occasions and client preferences.
- Customer-facing skills including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, welcoming demeanor in a luxury retail environment.
- Organizational abilities to manage multiple client requests, coordinate fittings, and support inventory handling and garment care.
- Basic comfort with digital tools and platforms for booking management, catalog browsing, and coordination with online orders.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for sustainable fashion and an understanding of circular economy concepts is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Dehra Dun, including weekends or peak hours as required, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Educational background in fashion design, fashion merchandising, retail management, or a related field (current students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
