Role Description The Fashion Consultant & Design Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. In this role, the team member will provide personalized fashion consulting to clients, including styling advice, outfit coordination, and guidance on fit, fabric, and occasion-specific looks. They will support the design team with sample coordination, trend research, and preparation of lookbooks or presentation materials. Daily tasks include maintaining product displays, ensuring the studio and showroom are client-ready, assisting with fittings and alterations follow-up, and capturing client feedback for continuous product improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong product knowledge and an understanding of menswear fits, fabrics, and construction.
- Fashion consulting and styling skills, including the ability to curate looks aligned with the brand’s aesthetic for high end clients.
- Candidates should possess good communication for engaging with clients in a professional and approachable manner.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in fashion design, fashion styling, or a related field are beneficial.
- Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment are essential.
- Proficiency in basic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) and familiarity with current menswear trends are an advantage.
