Role Description As a Fashion Consultant at Purple Style Labs, you will provide personalized styling and wardrobe guidance to customers, ensuring a high-touch, luxury shopping experience. In this full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, you will meet clients in store, understand their style preferences, occasions, and budgets, and recommend suitable designer outfits, accessories, and complete looks. You will stay informed about current fashion trends, new collections, and brand stories to educate and inspire clients. Daily responsibilities include managing appointments, assisting walk-in customers, coordinating fittings and alterations, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve store targets. You will also contribute to visual merchandising, support trunk shows and events, and maintain detailed records of client preferences to build long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong Product Knowledge and understanding of luxury fashion, Indian designer wear, fabrics, fits, and current trends.
- Demonstrated Fashion Consulting experience with the ability to create looks, style outfits, and provide confident wardrobe recommendations.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear presentation of options, and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proven Customer Service orientation, with a focus on personalized, respectful, and memorable in-store experiences.
- Sales skills, including upselling, cross-selling, and working towards individual and store targets while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in fashion retail, luxury boutiques, or styling roles is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak festive seasons, as required by store operations.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion, Design, Styling, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
