Role Description The Fashion Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad. In this position, the consultant will assist customers in selecting apparel, accessories, and styles that best suit their preferences, body types, and occasions, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing personalized styling advice, explaining product features and benefits, suggesting wardrobe combinations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends and brand offerings. The role involves collaborating with the sales team to drive store revenue, managing customer queries, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment on the shop floor. The Fashion Consultant will also support visual merchandising, participate in promotional activities, and help gather customer feedback to improve services and product assortments.
Qualifications
- Strong Fashion Consulting and styling abilities, with an understanding of current trends, body types, and occasion-based dressing.
- Solid Product Knowledge across apparel, accessories, fabrics, fits, and brand positioning to guide customers effectively.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and provide clear, respectful guidance.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, including handling queries, resolving concerns, and creating positive in-store experiences.
- Basic to intermediate Sales skills, including cross-selling, upselling, and supporting store targets in a retail environment.
- Prior experience in fashion retail, personal styling, or boutique consulting is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per retail needs.
- Minimum high school diploma; a certificate or degree in fashion, design, merchandising, or a related field is an advantage.
- Professional appearance, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
