Role Description
The fashion consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based at Aza’s store in Mumbai. The fashion consultant will guide customers in selecting designer clothing, jewelry, and accessories that best suit their style, occasion, and budget. Daily responsibilities include greeting and engaging customers, understanding their preferences, offering personalized styling advice, and presenting curated looks from Aza’s multi-designer collections. The role also involves maintaining product displays, staying updated on new arrivals and designer collections, coordinating fittings and alterations where required, and supporting sales targets through excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong product knowledge and familiarity with designer labels and current fashion trends.
- Proficiency in fashion consulting, personal styling, and advising customers on occasion-specific looks.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional interaction with diverse clients.
- Proven customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build relationships and support store revenue goals.
- Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion boutiques, or styling roles is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, including weekends and peak festive seasons, as part of a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a polished, fashion-forward personal presentation.
- A diploma or degree in fashion design, fashion styling, retail management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
