Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Fashion Buyer for a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. The Fashion Buyer will manage the sourcing and purchasing of products, analyze market trends, and build strong relationships with vendors. This role involves strategizing product selections, negotiating with suppliers, and collaborating with other teams to ensure that our collections meet customer preferences and business objectives. The buyer will also be responsible for tracking inventory and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Keep up with the latest trends. Gather trend information through various platforms like trade shows,etc.
· Create the right assortment offer at the right price, in the right quantities, at the right time.
· Developing a smart assortment for the brands with the best possible shopping experience for our customers.
· Maintaining updated knowledge of key competitors' product & pricing strategies.
· Cost closer with the vendors, based on product perceived value and optimum delivery margin.
· Managing end-to-end process of order placement, tracking, and delivery monitoring to ensure timely launches in alignment with channel-level launch targets.
· Work with teams on planograms to ensure that all themes/stories are planned and executed timely.
· Track inventory and align it for a quick & smooth transition to avoid sales disruption.
· Track and increase the core business contribution by introducing new products and ensuring “never out of stock” at any given point of time.
· Analyse historical performance to be able to support buying decision.
· Sharing production plans on time to book/manage MSI capacity
· Implementing and exploiting new systems and process
· Prepare Marketing/Promotion Calendar as per the planning with marketing team.
· Schedule Product Training as per requirement for every New Launches.
