Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Farmer, based in Indore. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining agricultural fields, ensuring crop health and harvest, coordinating daily farming operations, using tools and equipment safely for planting, irrigation, and harvesting, and implementing sustainable and innovative farming practices to optimize yield and quality. The Farmer will also maintain records of farming activities and contribute to the efficient functioning of the agricultural operations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with agricultural best practices, crop management, and farming methods
- Familiarity with the use and maintenance of farming tools, machinery, and irrigation equipment
- Skills in sustainable farming techniques and soil health management
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities for coordinating daily operations and handling records
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with agricultural teams and other stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills for addressing crop health issues and optimizing agricultural efficiency
- Adaptability and the ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Experience or education in agriculture, horticulture, or agribusiness is a plus
- Basic understanding of safety standards and protocols in agriculture
