Overview
This position involves providing essential personal care and health support to individuals in their homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and record clients’ health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Administer prescribed medications and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and nutritional guidance.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or home health support is preferred.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathically with clients.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
- Knowledge of specific health conditions and care techniques.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
