About FALI
Future Agriculture Leaders of India (FALI) is a unique program that provides a large number of India’s students in 8th and 9th standard with the technical, business and leadership skills they need to succeed in modern agriculture and agro enterprise.
FALI has built a growing community of more than 50,000 alumni and is now investing in ways to keep this community connected, supported and engaged as they enter higher education and the world of work.
About the Role
The FALI Alumni Program Manager will help build the next phase of FALI’s alumni program — turning a large and growing alumni base into an active network that creates opportunities for its members.
The role will involve designing and executing alumni programs, building relationships with industry and other partners, coordinating internships and entrepreneurship support, strengthening the alumni database and developing the systems needed to scale the program. By 2030, FALI expects its alumni community to grow to at least 200,000 young people.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building things, working with young people and partners, and turning ideas into well-run programs.
The Alumni Program Manager will report to the FALI CEO and work closely with the FALI management team, alumni, agribusinesses, banks, agtech companies and other ecosystem partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Update, expand and maintain the FALI alumni database and track key milestones
- Plan and coordinate alumni engagement activities, including webinars, networking events and learning sessions
- Coordinate internship opportunities by liaising with partner organisations and supporting alumni through the placement process
- Support entrepreneurship initiatives, including seed grant coordination, mentor engagement and follow-up with alumni-led enterprises
- Collect alumni stories, testimonials and programme updates for organisational communications and donor reporting
- Build and maintain relationships with organisations that can provide internships, mentorship, employment or other opportunities for alumni
- Prepare regular programme updates and support monitoring, documentation and reporting
- Create robust SOPs and durable systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any relevant discipline. Backgrounds in agriculture, rural management, development studies, social sciences, education, business or related fields are welcome.
- 2–4 years’ experience in program management, community engagement, livelihoods, education, skilling, agriculture, community development, CSR or related fields. Experience working with young people or managing networks/partnerships is particularly valuable.
- Knowledge of modern agriculture, agtech and agribusiness.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Good documentation and data management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of IT platforms or digital tools is desirable.
- Willingness to travel as required.
