Position Summary:
The primary job responsibilities of the Operations Manager are to manage, direct and coordinate the area ambulance operations by motivating and developing the staff and overseeing local operations to ensure the proper delivery of emergency services in conjunction with corporate goals and objectives.
Compensation: $82,500 (annual)

Essential Functions:
The Operations Manager may be assigned one or more duties. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in developing a strategic plan to advance the operation’s objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
- Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company.
- Identify business client opportunities and direct implementation activities.
- Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards.
- Review activity report and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance to current condition.
- Responsible for making key contacts with law enforcement, hospital, Emergency Medical Service agencies and public information officers or their equivalent to establish a quality communication link Falck and listed agencies.
- Support field personnel and Supervisors and provides assistance in creating an environment in which they can better accomplish their objectives.
- Manages subordinates who supervise all aspects of the company. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
- Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include complex planning assigning and directing work, appraising performance; regarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Attend meetings and perform similar activities to promote Falck.
- Initiate and negotiate contracts with Medical Community and Client agencies.
- Review all “private” business activities on a daily basis.
- Establish good rapport with customers, community and agencies.
- Establishes relationships and coordinates programs that benefit the organization.
Additional Duties:
The Operations Manager may be assigned one or more additional duties. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist with the completion of appropriate forms and reports that are not considered essential functions.
- Inventory and request needed supplies to perform department tasks.
- Attend all Manager meetings.
- Remain informed of relevant economic conditions and situations and recommend to the Managing Director any adjustments.
- Maintains a high profile as a knowledge mentor, motivator and lead by-example staff leader.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned by Managing Director.

The individual in this position must possess the following qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of tenure with Falck USA. at the time of application and be in good standing
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures.
- Experience in formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentations.
- Ability to identify and secure funding/revenue source.
- Must have willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.
- Excellent analytical skills and quality orientation-strives for continuous improvement in all activities to consistently achieve excellent results and meet or exceed department expectations.
- Must have computer competency including proficiency with Microsoft Suite, and understanding of database programs.
- Must have the ability to consistently deliver outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, teams, managers, supervisors, and external customers. Excellent ability to communicate and work cohesively across Department lines.

Education Requirements:
The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- EMT Certification or Higher
- BA/BS in Business or related field, preferred or will obtain.
