We're always looking to add to our list of incredible substitutes—either as energetic Group Leaders or superstar Teacher Assistants, depending on your experience and skills! In this role, you'll get to nurture, guide, and play with children in our daycare, all while showing off your positive teaching style and lending a helping hand with fun classroom activities.
Experience and Job Skills Required:
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Group Leader level: ECE Group Leader Certificate required; daycare or preschool experience required
- Teacher Assistant level: No certification required
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Able to move freely throughout the shift (bending, kneeling, squatting, etc.)
- Comfortable learning basic software applications (Group Leader level)
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist with daily classroom activities, including academics, Bible lessons, play, and arts & crafts
- Supervise and assist children throughout the day
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings
- Assist with cleaning and food handling
- Other duties as assigned
