Online Campus - Assistant Principal

Assists with planning, assessment, instructional leadership, communication, community relations, safety and security, and administrative management required to direct virtual instructional and special programs; assists with co-curricular and extracurricular activities and the operational needs of the facility, is available after the program each day to facilitate safe transportation of students returned to the summer program site. The assistant principal will receive a summer supplement, determined by the budget, that aligns with the assigned program.

Temporary-Hourly no Benefits

Must be a current FCPS employee; Postgraduate Professional License and endorsement as a school principal or in administration and supervision of preK-12, with five (5) years of experience in teaching and/or leadership, required. Assistant principal experience at the middle or high school level, preferred. Knowledge of teaching theory and methods; excellent communication skills; strong ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate school staff program, and services; ability to develop effective working relationships with central office personnel, staff, parents, community, and the general public.
