Job Description: FAE – Software Engineer

Role Overview
The role involves supporting customers in integrating software development kits (SDKs) into embedded platforms, troubleshooting system-level issues, and enabling deployment of AI workloads on edge SoCs. The position requires strong hands-on expertise in embedded Linux/RTOS environments, debugging, and customer-facing technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer integration of SDKs into Linux and RTOS-based embedded systems, including BSP and application-level adaptation
- Understand SDK updates and release notes, and implement required changes in customer environments
- Compile, modify, and debug source code and binary images, including handling cross-compilation and build systems
- Perform system-level debugging using Linux tools and identify performance or stability issues
- Analyze customer code to detect memory leaks, CPU/NPU bottlenecks, and latency concerns
- Support AI model deployment workflows including conversion, optimization, and acceleration on NPU-based SoCs
- Work on computer vision pipelines, including image processing, OpenCV usage, and real-time inference tuning
- Debug camera integration issues such as MIPI CSI interface, sensor drivers, and ISP pipeline
- Reproduce customer-reported issues and coordinate with internal engineering teams for resolution
- Prepare technical documentation, integration guides, and issue reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales and global engineering teams for technical support and escalation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science or related field
- 6–10 years of experience in embedded software or semiconductor domain
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as FAE, applications engineering, or support engineering
Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Experience with embedded Linux and RTOS systems
- Familiarity with build systems and cross-compilation environments
- Hands-on debugging using Linux tools (gdb, strace, logs, performance tools)
- Understanding of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX
- Exposure to edge AI deployment on SoCs / NPUs
- Knowledge of computer vision and image processing pipelines
- Experience with camera systems (MIPI CSI, ISP, sensor drivers)
