Role Description The Faculty member for B.Tech (CSE) and MBA Programme will deliver classroom and laboratory teaching, design and update course materials, and assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. Responsibilities include mentoring students, guiding them in internships, live projects, and research activities, and supporting their overall academic and professional development. The role involves collaborating with colleagues to strengthen curriculum, participate in academic committees, and contribute to accreditation and quality assurance processes. Faculty members are expected to engage in continuous learning, industry interaction, and research or consulting activities aligned with the institute’s focus on outcome-based education. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree required; PhD preferred).
- Strong teaching skills in areas relevant to B.Tech (CSE) and MBA, including classroom delivery, curriculum design, and student evaluation.
- Experience with modern pedagogy such as outcome-based education, experiential learning, project-based learning, and AI-enabled or technology-enhanced teaching tools.
- Ability to guide students in internships, industry projects, research work, and entrepreneurial or innovation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse student cohort and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Demonstrated academic or industry experience, preferably with exposure to the digital economy, contemporary business practices, or emerging technologies in CSE.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, collaboration with industry and academia, and contribution to institutional activities and governance.
- Prior experience in teaching at the undergraduate or postgraduate level is highly desirable.
