Role Description The Faculty Lecturer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Uttarakhand, India. The Faculty Lecturer will design and deliver lectures, workshops, and training modules for students, graduates, and early-stage entrepreneurs, focusing on career development, professional skills, and startup readiness. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, conducting classroom and small-group sessions, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback and mentoring. The role also involves collaborating with other faculty and mentors to refine curricula, organizing seminars and guest sessions, and contributing to academic and career counselling activities. The Faculty Lecturer is expected to stay updated on industry trends, higher education pathways, and startup ecosystems to ensure content remains current and relevant.
Qualifications
- Ability to design and deliver structured lectures, workshops, and training programs, with strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
- Proficiency in career counselling, mentoring, and guidance for placements and higher education, including resume preparation and interview readiness.
- Strong communication skills in English (and preferably Hindi), with clear presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills for diverse learner groups.
- Experience or familiarity with entrepreneurship, startup ecosystems, or business fundamentals, enabling support for early-stage founders and project teams.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and learning platforms for preparing materials, tracking learner progress, and conducting occasional online sessions.
- Relevant academic background, typically a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field such as management, commerce, education, engineering, or related disciplines.
- Prior teaching, training, or corporate learning experience in academic institutions, training centers, or professional programs is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple batches or programs, and maintain a learner-centric, inclusive, and non-discriminatory teaching environment.
