Role Description
The Faculty - Economics role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economics, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international economics, in classroom and seminar settings. Responsibilities also include curriculum development, conducting assessments, supervising research, and fostering an engaging learning environment. Faculty members are expected to participate in departmental activities, contribute to academic research, and mentor students in their academic and career pursuits.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core economic disciplines, including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and International Economics
- Experience in University Teaching and curriculum design at undergraduate or postgraduate levels
- Strong analytical and research abilities in the field of Economics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and mentoring
- Passion for academics with the ability to inspire students and create an engaging learning atmosphere
- Ph.D. in Economics or a related field is preferred, or a Master’s degree with significant teaching or research experience
