Position Overview
We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated educators to join our team as Faculty in Anatomy / Physiology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instructions, mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging in departmental research activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic & Teaching Excellence
- Deliver engaging lectures, practical demonstrations, and tutorials in Anatomy and/or Physiology to undergraduate and postgraduate Allied Health Sciences students.
- Design and develop comprehensive lesson plans, syllabus structures, and instructional materials in alignment with university guidelines.
- Conduct laboratory sessions, ensuring students gain hands-on proficiency in anatomical models, dissection concepts, and physiological experiments.
2. Student Evaluation & Mentorship
- Set examination papers, evaluate assignments, and conduct internal/external practical and theory assessments.
- Act as an academic mentor to students, providing guidance on career paths, research projects, and academic performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
3. Research & Institutional Development
- Engage in active research, publish papers in indexed, peer-reviewed journals, and encourage students to participate in research projects.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum revision committees, and institutional accreditation processes (NAAC, NIRF, etc.).
- Organize and contribute to seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and continuous medical education (CME) programs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Eligibility
- MD in Anatomy / Physiology OR
- M.Sc in Anatomy / Physiology OR
- Candidates with a Master’s degree in Allied Health Sciences (with strong specialization/teaching capability in Anatomy and Physiology).
- Ph.D. in the relevant field is highly desirable and will be given preference.
Experience
- Prior teaching experience in a recognized medical, dental, or allied health sciences institution is preferred (Freshers with strong academic credentials and a passion for teaching may also apply).

- In-depth, conceptual clarity in human anatomy and systemic physiology.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing modern teaching aids, including ICT tools, Smart Classrooms, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
