Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Factory Quality role based in Mumbai. The role involves monitoring production processes, inspecting materials and finished products, and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations. Responsibilities include documenting quality checks, identifying defects or process issues, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions, and maintaining detailed quality records and reports. The role also includes supporting continuous improvement initiatives, assisting in audits, and helping to train factory staff on quality procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience with quality control and quality assurance in a factory or manufacturing environment, including inspection and testing of materials and finished products.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures relevant to construction materials or industrial products.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and process documentation, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in recording data, preparing quality reports, and using basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, quality tracking tools).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, propose practical solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and management teams on-site.
- Prior experience in fire protection, construction materials, insulation products, or related industries is an advantage.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, industrial production, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
