Factory Floor Manager – Wood & Metal (Nelamangala, Bangalore)
Wood & Metal is a Bengaluru-based luxury interiors brand specializing in bespoke furniture and custom interior solutions, blending solid wood craftsmanship with modern design.
Role:
We’re looking for a Factory Floor Manager to oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring smooth production, high quality, and on-time delivery. You will manage teams, coordinate schedules, monitor output, and maintain safety and efficiency on the floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day factory operations and workflow
- Supervise carpenters, polishers, and floor staff
- Ensure quality control and finishing standards
- Plan production schedules and track progress
- Coordinate with design and management teams
Requirements:
- Experience in furniture/interior manufacturing (3+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of wood (teak, veneer, plywood), joinery, and finishing (PU, water-based)
- Familiarity with machines (cutting, CNC, sanding, polishing)
- Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Basic production planning and inventory understanding
- Preferred languages: Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi
