About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facility Operations Associate to manage and optimize day-to-day workplace operations at our cutting-edge aerospace R&D facility in Bengaluru. In this role, you will ensure seamless facility management, vendor coordination, infrastructure reliability, and workplace safety for a fast-paced engineering environment focused on next-generation propulsion systems and green aviation technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end facility operations including office upkeep, laboratory maintenance, housekeeping, landscaping, security, and infrastructure repairs.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of critical utilities including electricity, water supply, internet connectivity, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Manage office, pantry, and operational inventory to maintain efficient day-to-day workflows and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high-quality facility services.
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance standards within the aerospace R&D workspace.
- Track operational budgets, maintain expense records, and optimize facility-related costs without compromising efficiency.
- Support logistics coordination including employee transportation, workspace arrangements, and office infrastructure requirements.
- Plan and execute internal events, employee engagement activities, and workplace initiatives that enhance team culture and productivity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, HR, and leadership teams to support workspace optimization and operational scalability.
- Proactively identify operational risks and implement process improvements to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 1–3 years of experience in facility management, office administration, workplace operations, or administrative support roles.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Strong understanding of facility operations, vendor management, workplace maintenance, and office infrastructure coordination.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory; additional regional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain composed under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, deep-tech, or R&D environment.
- Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Experience in handling vendor negotiations, procurement coordination, or office budgeting.
