Role Description The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and maintenance across assigned properties to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai and involves coordinating housekeeping, security, technical services, and vendor activities for commercial and residential facilities. The Facility Manager will monitor service quality, manage budgets and resources, track maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role includes supervising on-ground teams, handling client communications, resolving operational issues promptly, and preparing regular reports on facility performance. The Facility Manager will collaborate closely with management and clients to implement continuous improvements and maintain high levels of occupant satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong facility operations and maintenance skills, including coordination of housekeeping, security, and technical services.
- Experience in vendor management, contract oversight, and cost-effective resource planning.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards relevant to commercial and residential properties.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities, with experience supervising frontline staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools for tracking operations and performance.
- Prior experience in facility management, hospitality, or property management, preferably within large complexes.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple priorities, and respond quickly to operational issues.
