We have an exciting opportunity of Facility Manager with our client based at Bangalore.
Job title: Facility Manager
Location: Bangalore (Whitefield)
About the Role
Responsible for managing all existing operational contracts, ensuring contract retention, growth, and development within the assigned territory, while strengthening the portfolio, reputation, and overall service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure profitable delivery of operations and control of costs & overheads through achievement of business targets for GOP.
- Drive delivery and expansion of business and margins across operations, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations, policies, and procedures.
- Support new business development through promotion and costing of products & services, and by responding to tenders & proposals.
- Establish and maintain strong multi-level relationships with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their hierarchy and strategic vision.
- Ensure all customer expectations are met as per client agreements.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial and qualitative reports and share updates with leadership on a regular basis.
- Proactively manage receivables and coordinate with finance teams to ensure effective handling of supplier and contractor payments.
- Collaborate with business development and operations teams, providing support wherever required.
- Ensure all service deliveries, including food operations, are executed as per agreed terms and conditions.
Organic Growth and Profitability
- Sustain and improve site profitability through regular analysis and corrective actions.
- Escalate any operational risks or challenges to management in a timely manner.
- Achieve sales and profit targets for the site.
- Drive organic growth through service excellence, retail initiatives, and value-added offerings.
Cash and Debtors Management
- Ensure accurate cash handling, documentation, and deposit processes.
- Ensure timely invoicing and delivery to clients as per agreed schedules.
Communication and Client Retention
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding services, new initiatives, and improvements.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Address client and operational issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical
- Strong business acumen
- Commitment to quality and service excellence
- Strong financial and budgeting skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
